Peak Startup?

it seems every city still wants to be a startup hub, dreaming of becoming “the new Silicon Valley.” But in the Valley itself? Here it feels like the golden age of the startup is already over.

After the end of the startup era

I don’t know if this is true, but I have noticed some app fatigue. And, no one seems too worried about the vast number of people in the US with crap internet service. I’m trying to stay open minded about new app use cases. The openness of the early internet was unique. Now? I don’t see people embracing open standards in the US at least. Maybe need to go elsewhere?


Where venture capital has peaked

I think part of this could also be due to scaled up angel investing replacing some venture investing.
